This is a downloadable PDF knitting pattern. You will not receive the physical item when purchasing this listing.

The Tie Tote knitting pattern is an intermediate pattern. The bag is made in one piece from the bottom up. Starting with a garter stitch rectangle for the bottom, stitches are then picked up around the circumference using the magic loop method. The main body of the bag is knit in the round in a lace stitch. Once cast off, stitches are picked up at either end for the straps which are worked in garter stitch.

One size. Approximately 25 cms in width 24 cms in length (not including straps).

Yarn quantity: 180 metres / 197 yards. (3 balls of Tykk Line in total) Needles: 4.5mm 80cm (and 4.5mm 40cm optional)

Gauge: 16 stitches 28 rows = 4 x 4 inch / 10x 10 cm square in lace pattern

Exact gauge is not essential for this project but a different gauge will affect final size of the bag and the amount of yarn needed
